THE FRONT RANGE & ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

Nestled at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the beautiful and legendary town of Boulder is a great place to be based for a week of adventure in the mountains and relaxation & discovery in town. September is a nice time to be in Boulder as most days are sunny, the city is abuzz with happy locals and visitors alike, the temperatures are mild and the aspens are typically bursting with color. The contrast of the yellow leaves with the bright blue skies and the snow-capped peaks is stunning.

Boulder is full of world-class hiking trails that are all easily accessible right from town; there’s a plethora of local farms that supply the restaurants with incredible produce; a great calendar of events that include music, art, guest speakers and more; gorgeous scenery and a fun, down-to-earth culture everywhere you go. It’s easy to fall in love with this place!

During your hikes, you’ll hike through aspen groves bursting with bright yellows and oranges (in the fall), along pathways that wind through gentle meadows and past bright blue lakes while gazing up at the jagged Flatirons and Rocky Mountains. We know these hiking & biking trails, restaurants and cafés so well since they’re right in our backyard and though we are biased, we truly believe Boulder is one of the most amazing places in the world.

Pathways puts together some truly unique itineraries.
